Underground Burger Bar in Missouri

"The burger was as good, but not 5-star The ambience was nice. Very polite servers. Considering their name, they only had four burgers on the menu. The rest of the menu was pastas, dinner plates, and salads. I would eat their again"

"This is a nice and low key hotel restaurant, nothing fancy or ambitious, but clean and comfortable with good food and a very nice staff. The menu has a list of burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and a few entrees. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was quite tasty and the steak fries were excellent. You wouldn't drive across town to get here, but I was staying at the hotel and I was very satisfied."

"This place is kinda fun. It's in the basement of the DoubleTree hotel. There is no sign outside the hotel telling you it's inside. So it feels like going to a speakeasy or something. But there it is in the basement along with the hotel's meeting rooms for small conferences. At any rate, there were a couple of people at the bar and a couple of diners but overall pretty empty. The decor is decent and seems new. We both ordered the Smokey Veggie Burger and they were good! There like a crazy cattle brand burned into the top bun of the burger. Fun! Burgers were really tasty and filling. Steak fries were good. This is an odd little restaurant with a fun kinda scavenger hunt to find it in a kinda forgotten area by the airport. We'll be back."

"I had a burger ordered by Uber eats. Tasted great. Love the union and mushrooms on it. Baked beans were also great. To bad you can't order drinks. But had drink out of the hotel lobby so was fine."

"Its located in the hotel we were staying in( Doubletree ) we got breakfast from here, and were very impressed. They have Turkey for a pork substitute Inwhich that gives them 2 stars of the bat without even tasting a forkful in my book. I want to come back and get a Burger from here, looks good and well put together"

"Atmosphere: The Underground Burger Bar is hidden in the basement of Holiday Inn. A basement isn't the most inviting place to go to eat. The place it self was nearly deserted; there was one guy at the bar, and I wasn't sure if he worked there or not. The gray decor made it feel like a sterile underground bunker that had been dressed up. 2/5 for atmosphere. Staff: The staff was friendly and greeted us promptly. They had a good balance between making sure to wait on us and giving us space to think about what we wanted to order, and then space to enjoy our food. They were good about keeping the water cup full, and used that as an opportunity to clear dirty dishes, instead of making multiple trips. One employee was training our waiter, who was a little awkward, but still nice. 4/5 for staff. Food: The food is good, especially the onion rings. It's nice to find good food in the same building where you're staying. There are many options for vegetarians; they have a variety of burgers on the menu and they can all be substituted for a veggie burger. If you are looking for a quick bite before your flight, this could be a good choice. 4/5 for food."
